The biggest difference is our approach. Physiotherapy typically uses a range of treatments to reduce pain - we use one approach, focused entirely on finding the root cause of the problem rather than managing symptoms.
Every exercise we design is built around your body and your current situation. We use our specialist muscle assessment to identify precisely which muscles may not be activating as they should - and we build your programme around what we find.
We also use the highest quality rehabilitation equipment available. This means we can design exercises that feel right for your body - where in the past, similar exercises may not have felt good at all.
No. You can contact us directly to reserve a free Discovery Call. Many of our clients come to us directly, while others are referred by their physiotherapist. Either way, you are very welcome.
Your first session is your Consultation and Neuromuscular Assessment. This takes between 60 and 90 minutes depending on your situation.
During the assessment, we begin by looking at how freely each joint moves - understanding where restrictions may exist. We then use our specialist muscle assessment to identify which muscles may not be activating as they should, and which may be compensating as a result.
You leave with a clear understanding of what we’ve found and a plan for moving forward.
Every person is different - they have a different history, different compensation patterns and a different starting point. What we promise is that we work to find the root cause as efficiently as possible.
Some clients notice a difference from the first session. More complex cases take longer. This is why we have built a structured programme of phases - because progress needs to move along a continuum, thoroughly and at a pace that is right for your body.
This depends on the complexity of your situation. Our programme is structured across four phases spanning 16 weeks - though some clients progress faster and others need more time in certain phases.
The most important thing is that we never rush the process. Each phase is built on the last, and we only move forward when your body is ready.
We work with a wide range of persistent muscle and joint conditions. Here are some of the most common:
Spondylolisthesis, spondylosis, disc-related pain, sciatica, nerve root irritation, lordosis, kyphosis, scoliosis, retrolisthesis, pars defect
Scapular dyskinesis, rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder, postural pain, desk-based syndromes
Patellofemoral syndrome, patella tendinitis, patella tendinopathy, hip bursitis, Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis
Osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, post-surgical rehabilitation
Spinal & Lower Back Conditions
We are frequently sought out for spinal conditions including spondylolisthesis, spondylosis, disc-related pain, sciatica and nerve root irritation, lordosis, kyphosis, scoliosis, retrolisthesis and pars defect. Our approach focuses on strengthening the deep core and surrounding muscles so the spine is properly supported and vertebrae are not bearing excess load.
Shoulder & Upper Back Issues
We specialise in movement-based shoulder conditions including scapular dyskinesis (winging scapula), rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder and postural pain - particularly desk-based syndromes where the chest is tight and the upper back is weak.
Lower Limb & Joint Dysfunction
We work with knee pain including patellofemoral syndrome, patella tendinitis, patella tendinopathy, hip bursitis, Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis and other lower limb conditions caused by poor force absorption or muscle imbalance.
Long-Term Conditions
We work with clients managing osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. While we cannot cure these conditions, we help clients build the muscle needed to take load off affected joints - often producing significant improvements in comfort and mobility.
Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
We work with clients who have been cleared by their surgeon but still feel weak or unstable. We bridge the gap between standard post-surgical rehab and returning to full strength and activity.
If you are unsure whether we can help with your specific situation, reserve a free Discovery Call and we’ll let you know honestly.
Yes. Many of our clients come to us after surgery - either because their recovery has stalled, or because they want to build strength and resilience beyond what standard post-surgical rehabilitation has achieved.
We work carefully and progressively, always guided by what your body tells us during our specialist muscle assessment.
Absolutely. Our approach is based on precision and progressive loading - not intensity. We work at a pace that is right for your body, regardless of age. We have helped clients in their 70s and 80s achieve significant improvements in strength, mobility and comfort. Age is never a barrier to getting stronger.
