Strength House was founded in 2019 by Greg and Tara - two people who know first-hand what it feels like to live with unresolved pain, and who refused to accept that nothing could be done about it.
Strength House co-founder Tara spent years dealing with a knee injury that refused to resolve. She worked with the NHS, saw private physiotherapists, tried shockwave therapy, laser therapy, acupuncture and more. She followed every exercise programme she was given - and the pain remained. At one point, a misdiagnosis led to exercises that made things worse.
It wasn’t for lack of trying. It was that something fundamental was being missed.
Greg had a similar experience. As UK & Ireland Calisthenics Champion 2016 and Human Flag Champion 2017, he was at the peak of his physical ability - until shoulder and knee injuries ended his competitive career. He tried the same range of treatments and quickly noticed that targeted resistance training produced results that nothing else could match.
Together, Greg and Tara went deeper. They studied exercise mechanics, muscle testing, anatomy, and the design and application of rehabilitation exercises. What they discovered was significant - the difference between success and failure in exercise rehab came down to precision. The right muscle. The right angle. The right load. The right time.
This became the foundation of Strength House.

Greg’s approach to exercise rehab is shaped by both his competitive background and his own injury experience. Having competed at the highest level in calisthenics, he understands what it means to train hard - and what it costs when the body stops working as it should.
His 14+ years experience with ongoing study of anatomy, Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) and Resistance Training Specialist (RTS) principles gives him the tools to identify the root cause of persistent muscle and joint issues - and to build programmes that address them precisely.
Clients consistently describe Greg as someone who makes them feel genuinely understood. His warmth, professionalism and attention to detail create an environment where people feel safe, supported and confident that they are in the right hands.
Tara’s background in ballet and contemporary dance gave her a deep understanding of movement and the body - and a career in the City gave her first-hand experience of what a sedentary lifestyle does to it.
Her knee injury and the years spent searching for a resolution became the driving force behind everything Strength House stands for. She knows what it feels like to do everything right - the physio, the exercises, the treatments - and still be in pain. That experience shapes how she works with every client.
Tara has 15+ years personal training experience and is also a qualified nutritionist, bringing a practical, realistic approach to helping clients build healthy habits that fit their lives. She combines deep technical knowledge with genuine warmth - and an absolute commitment to finding solutions that actually work.

We are not a gym. We are not a physio clinic. We are exercise specialists — focused entirely on the relationship between muscles, joints and the nervous system, and what happens when that relationship breaks down.
Every member of the Strength House team shares the same foundation: a deep understanding of exercise mechanics, muscle testing and the precision required to build programmes that genuinely work.
Our results speak for themselves. Physiotherapists across the City of London now confidently refer their clients into our care — because they know that what we do is different, and that the difference matters.
